ATIS Relay Paid Features Terms Version 2026-10-20 1. About these terms. These Paid Features Terms are Additional Terms under Section 20 of our Terms of Use. They apply when you use usage billing, scheduled reports, human review, accuracy credits, or paid audio. The rest of the Terms of Use still applies, including the Aviation Safety Disclaimer (Section 22), the warranty disclaimer (Section 23), and the limitation of liability (Section 24). If these terms conflict with the Terms of Use on their subject, these terms control. 2. Usage billing (a) Opt-in. Usage billing is off unless you turn it on. Your plan's included limits are never billed. (b) Authorization. When you turn usage billing on, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method each month for your billable usage in the previous month, up to your monthly limit. This authorization lasts until you turn usage billing off or remove your payment method. (c) Monthly limit. You must set a monthly limit. Once your billable usage reaches it, requests beyond your included limits are refused until the next month or until you raise the limit. We'll email you when you reach 50% and 90% of your limit. (d) Billable usage. Billable usage means successful API requests beyond your plan's included limits, phone-line dials beyond your plan's monthly dial cap, scheduled reports beyond your plan's included reports, and audio fetches beyond your included limits. Errors, rate-limit (429) responses, and anything within your included limits are not billed. Per-minute rate limits apply to everyone. A request for a fresh capture that our Phone Line Policy answers with our latest capture isn't billed as a dial. (e) Rates. Rates are on our rate card at /pricing/usage, which shows its effective date and past versions. We'll email you at least 30 days before any rate increase. Rate changes take effect on the first day of a UTC month. Decreases may take effect immediately. (f) Statements and charges. Billing months follow UTC. We email a usage statement by the 1st of each month and charge it on or after the 11th. Each line's monthly total is rounded to the nearest cent, half-up. Amounts below our payment processor's minimum charge carry forward to your next statement. (g) Taxes. Rates don't include taxes. We'll add any tax we're required to collect. (h) Turning it off. You can turn usage billing off at any time in your account. New charges stop immediately; usage already incurred is still billed. (i) Failed payments. If a charge still fails after our payment processor's retries, we'll turn usage billing off and email you. The rest of your account is unaffected, and the amount owed remains due. (j) Usage records and disputes. Our usage records determine your billable usage unless you show they're wrong. You can see your usage in your account. If you think a statement is wrong, tell us within 60 days of its date. We'll review it and refund any error. 3. Scheduled reports (a) What you get. A scheduled report is one attempt to get the latest available ATIS, ASOS, or AWOS for the airport you choose, starting at the time you choose. We deliver it by text message, on the web or API, or both. Delivery usually happens within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. We aren't responsible for delays by wireless carriers. (b) Closed towers and substitutes. If the tower is closed when the attempt runs and we deliver that airport's current ASOS or AWOS instead, the report counts as delivered. If we can deliver only a METAR, or a message that no report is available, the report counts as not delivered. (c) Included reports and price. ATIS Relay Plus includes 5 scheduled reports per UTC month. Unused reports don't roll over. Additional reports cost $4.99 each and require usage billing to be on. We charge a paid report when you place it. (d) Cancelling. You can cancel a scheduled report until the attempt starts, and we'll restore the included report or refund the charge. (e) Not delivered. If a report isn't delivered within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, or counts as not delivered under (b), we'll restore the included report or refund the charge automatically. (f) Text messages. If you choose text delivery, you agree that we may text the report to the verified number you give us at the scheduled time. Message and data rates may apply. If you text STOP to us before the report is sent, we won't send it, and we'll restore or refund it. (g) Unofficial information. A scheduled report is a planning snapshot, not an official briefing. Always confirm current information on frequency. 5. Accuracy credits (a) What qualifies. A delivered scheduled report is inaccurate if its text materially differs from the audio we recorded, for example in the information letter, time, wind, visibility, ceiling, temperature, altimeter setting, runway or approach in use, or a NOTAM it reads. It's also inaccurate if it wasn't the latest report available to us when we sent it. (b) How to claim. Use "Report inaccurate" on the scheduled report's page within 7 days of delivery. We review the recorded audio, so you don't need to prove anything. (c) Remedy. If we approve your claim, we'll restore the included report, or refund what you paid for that report, including any human review charge, to your original payment method. (d) Limits. For the fees you paid for a scheduled report, this is your only remedy. It doesn't limit any right you have that can't be limited by law. 6. Paid audio. Audio is available on paid plans. Each audio fetch counts against your limits, and fetches beyond your included limits are billable usage. Audio links expire after 24 hours. You may play audio only for your own use, or on a Commercial plan as our API Terms allow. You may not rebroadcast it on any radio frequency, resell it, or offer it as a feed. 7. Changes. We may change these terms under Section 31 of the Terms of Use. We'll ask you to accept material changes before they apply to new purchases or to continued usage billing. 8.
