Yes! This is currently supported for airports without digital ATIS where an ATIS has recently been retrieved. More frequent audio file updates are coming soon.
Most ATIS broadcasts are updated 53 minutes after the hour and are available over the radio at that time. Frequently ATIS is not available over the phone lines for a few minutes after the radio broadcast is updated. D-ATIS received through the internet or through this service is usually delayed 5-8 minutes. Transcripts on this site are updated on demand for airports without digital ATIS.
Some data delivered via this service is from FAA SWIM which is considered "Not for operational use". It is the pilot's responsibility to ensure the information they are operating with is accurate and current. Please use official sources for safety critical operations.
AI transcriptions are not perfect and commonly contain errors. We do our best to check these transcriptions against published METARs, however accuracy is not guaranteed.
Use this service at your own risk!
Generally yes. However after the tower closes we may show the most recent ATIS even though it may not describe the current weather. We will attempt to indicate when this is happening. It is also worth noting that there may be a slight delay in D-ATIS updates, sometimes as much as 20 minutes. This limitation is not under our control.
While ATIS for many airports is freely available by telephone, calling, recording, storing and transcribing those messages costs money. As of the time of this writing ATIS Relay can be used completely for free, however we may choose to limit the number of ATIS text messages you can receive each month without a subscription. Purchasing a subscription helps keep the site running and helps fund improvements to the software. Subscribers also get priority service, support and can help guide future development.
